The Raceway @ Powercom Park, Beaver Dam, Wis., June 24

 

The Raceway at Powercom Park is announcing the promotion of Three (3) Late Model events for the remaining 2005-Schedule at the Raceway at Powercom Park for the Johnsonville Brats Dirt Late Model Division.

 

A formulated payout, (based on a car count), combined with a established program of events made up of qualifying, a six-lap shoot-out of the top 6 qualifiers plus a single A-Main event, will be make up the itinerary at both the Raceway at Powercom Park and the Powercom Speed Zone.

 

The formatted nightly itinerary will be the same at the Speed Zone and the Raceway at Powercom Park for the remaining 2005-Season. Payout for the Johnsonville Brats Dirt Late Model division will be based and paid complete in three predetermined pay structures reverting back to the 2004-pay structure.

 

The following dates at the Park will include the Johnsonville Brats Dirt Late Models to its nightly schedule of events:

 

July 23rd

Johnsonville Brats Night at the Races

August 20th

 Fan Appreciation Night

September 3rd

 Labor Day Weekend

 

The Johnsonville Brats Dirt Late Model division will remain on schedule at the Powercom Speed Zone for the remaining season and will continue to compete for the remaining five events for 2005.

 

On any given weekly event Modified, Street Stocks, INEX Legends, Grand Nationals and Dirt Devils comprise an average of 125-140 drivers from three to four Midwestern states.

 

Regular scheduled racing at the Powercom Speed Zone resumes this Tuesday, June 28th with the Budweiser Modifieds, Charter Communication’s Street Stocks, the Grand Nationals, the Signmaker’s Dirt Devil division PLUS the Johnsonville Brats Dirt Late Model division. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and racing begins at 7:00 p.m.

 

At the Raceway at Powercom Park, July 2nd, it’s the “Salute to Freedom” honoring all those who are presently serving and those who have served in the armed forces. Present any form of proof of being a veteran or active member of the armed forces and get an adult ticket for only $5.00. Saturday night action at the park starts with the gates opening at 5:00 p.m. and racing gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
