Wisconsin Motorsports will
now
offer an alternative tire and rim for the
Modified divisions
at the Raceway at Powercom Park and Powercom Speed
Zone.
Boubin Tire Company of Independence, Iowa will provide an American
Race tire to be used in competition during the 2005 race season.
Distributorship of the tires from Genal’s Racing Tires of Appleton will
provide M/R Racing Equipment of Waldo and Krahn Performance Racing with
product.
Sizes available are G60-15
BTC ASPH (84”) and G60-15 BTC 704 (82”). Compounds of tires will be 704
asphalt rubber. Any racer will be able to run the non-stamped G60’s or
the IMCA G60’s with no tire advantage either way. ALL tires will
be stamped for easy tech.
As part of the 2005-program,
Boubin Tire Company will contribute $5.00 per BTC tire sold through the
designated dealer(s).
Boubin Tire Company will also
provide championship jackets, promotional items and product for the end
of the year contingency programs.
